Roomies?

Mar 01, 2010 23:37

 . . .

T-This is entirely unreasonable!  I've lived here for more than a year.  You can't spring a roommate on me now!  My research!  My texts!  My experiments!  . . . How can I be expected to get anything done with only half a room to my name?!

Nathan!  Where did all my documents go?!

nathan, tear, xanxus, blues, luke, guts

You think I took your documents?

They've obviously been misplaced by the sudden furniture that appeared on your side.

Why aren't you asking the furniture then, huh?

An excellent idea. I'll do that as soon as someone develops a magic to give voice to the inanimate.

[Srs chick is srs.]

Someone stole your research documents?

Not precisely. I just can't find any of it since my organizational system has been thrown into chaos.

[Relax, soldier, relax.]

I see. So, in other words it's simply that you aren't used to sharing your living quarters and as a result... you're experiencing great difficulty adjusting to the change.

Perhaps if you arranged them in a drawer or on a shelf in order by subject? Files seem to work quite well. They should take up very little space that way.

[Don't mind her, she has no idea how Klarth keeps his books and papers straight as it is.]

Yes, well. I ran out of shelf space about a month into my stay here.

The way other people deal with a roommate. Live with it.

. . . Hm! An excellent answer, but I'm afraid that's incorrect.

What's that supposed to mean?

The room is doubly occupied already. Myself and my work. There's simply no room for a third, so I reject your answer.

Your stuff takes up a whole room? That's a lotta sprawl.

Vital research warrants as much space as necessary.

guts_noglory March 3 2010, 04:03:18 UTC
Right. Sure it does.

If it's so 'vital' why aren't you doing it in some...research-y place instead of your room, then?

I'm not risking their loss by storing them anywhere other than where I can keep a direct eye on them. It's not as if the library has a research vault.

Jesus, quit bitching. If it's that much of a problem, rent a bigger apartment.

And actually spend money? Sheesh, I'm not that desperate.

Money doesn't mean anything here anyway, for fuck's sake.

Of course it does. Onsen food is expensive.
