Welp, I might as well put this up now! I'm going away for a week where I'll be visiting family every day, so don't expect prompt responses or character icons until I get back. Back! I won't make a proper rules post for this round because it's so short, but I'll put everything you need to know below the following cut!
Sign-ups are open until Friday, July 16, at 11:59pm EDT, when submissions close CLOSED! The first theme is up. The sooner you sign up the better, because then you're more likely to get your favourite shoujo character as your identity! Remember, it's loads of fun, and this round is short enough that it shouldn't interfere with school or anything :D

This round is different from the usual format in a few ways:
• there will be no eliminations or fancy team stuff;
• there will only be three weeks of challenges;
• skips are allowed, as many as you wish, as long as you accept that you will not gain any points for doing so;
• prizes will only be art/banners if you wish, but not the paid account.
In other words, this is a completely casual round that you may participate in, or not participate in, as you wish. Of course, you'll have to sign up now to participate in any of the three weeks' challenges, and I would appreciate some notice if you plan on dropping out permanently… but other than that, it's all good :D This sort of friendly competition should be fun, and maybe even relaxing for a change!
Here the usual requirements:
: Remember to make sure that your character choices are from SHOUJO animanga. If you're here, you should know what that means; but if not, check the rules.
: For the sake of clarity, please list your character's names western style, i.e. given name FIRST, family name LAST. Also include the series your character came from, for identification as well as interest.
: Please link to an image of your first and second choices. It makes my life much easier, but isn't necessary to sign up.
: Don't forget to join and watch the community after signing up, if you havent already! It's important to be up-to-date with the competition~
If your first choice is taken, you'll get the next one down. But don't be discouraged if that happens, it's just for fun and won't affect the proceedings at all :) Here's all that in a handy text box:
