well it takes less years in school to become a nurse (and you'll still have really valuable knowledge under your belt) and you get a good pay. though I just wanted to correct you that teachers DO get pay during the summer. most teachers op for a 12 month long pay (so their paychecks are smaller, but at least they get money to survive every month). teachers work harder than anyone I know and the job is VERY noble and admirable (not to say going into the medical business isnt)
but in the education class i took, the textbook AND the teacher said that they don't get paid during summer she has to do odd jobs and shit though i guess that depends on the area?? i dont know
i agree though they have the best schedules its kind of sad how they have such low pay and the job is so important ;_;
teachers have option of taking a large paycheck for the 9 months of school, or a smaller paycheck that is stretched across 12 months.. though it may be according to school district policy too! and teachers are.. man.. hardworkers! i've some amazing teachers who are so personable and dedicated to their kids. some come to school at 6:30-7:00 and stay extra hours just to help kids.. and augh imagine all the paper work they do at home.. and then planning and.... lol sometimes thinking about these things make me not wanna be a teacher!! jkjk every job has hardwork, know what i mean?
but yeah, do what you wanna do girl! doctor or teacher, a job is what YOU make out of it!
