Sometimes the most ordinary things can develop characters. Roleplay your muse doing something completely ordinary with someone. It can be housework, bill paying, picking up the dry cleaning, something that is just a normal, daily activity. It was amazing sometimes, how much the extraordinary became commonplace. Sarah had driven off into the grass, the moment the road had started to shake. Using her watch she was quickly able to track down the source and driving in a circuituitous route she had quickly found the source and disabled it. Now she was trying to see where else she could be of help. Cleanup wasn't her speciality, but she felt obligated to try, at least.

Parking her car off to the side of the road, she spotted a familiar face among the workers.

"Harry?"

There were already ambulances there, but Harry was going round the injured assessing who were the most urgent cases and who didn't need to go to hospital at all. Fortunately, the worst affected had already been dealt with and most of the ones Harry came across just had cuts and bruises. And the inevitable emotional shock and general disbelief at what had happened. The superstitious, or just cautious, stayed on the grass, he noticed.

He was just standing up from tending to one of the wounded, who fortunately had a friend nearby who offered to take her to casualty to get stitches, when he heard his name.

"Sarah. What are you doing here?" Although that was probably a stupid question.

ooc: Feel free to make up any carnage you like :)

"The usual." Sarah didn't even blink at the question. It was very typical of Harry. "Saving the world and all that. What can I do to help? Just direct me where you need me. My first aid certificate's up to date, so I can manage the basics."

She could tell Harry was in his element, doing triage and just...taking care of people.

ooc: I'll let you/Harry figure out the gory details, because I don't know enough about how these things would work in England. (though between red cross classes, and general reading, I've picked up quite a bit of general information)

"Good." He could certainly use the help with this. UNIT only had so many people and the ones that weren't here were working on the cause of it. "The worst injuries are already dealt with. Most people are just in shock." He hated putting anyone who's abilities he was unsure of into a serious situation, but then just throwing them into it usually worked best, he'd found. And Sarah he could trust to deal with most things without falling apart.

"Reassure them the road is safe again. Anything more serious, get someone to take them to hospital if you're not sure." He couldn't be certain the road was safe, but he wasn't going to tell anyone that for fear of causing more panic.

"Start here and work your way down, I'll meet you in the middle. There's a spare first aid kit in the van." No need to say which van, being as it had UNIT on the side. "We'll talk later." There really wasn't time for pleasantries just yet.

Since Harry was used to giving out instructions once and having them instantly obeyed, he ran off down the road.

OOC: I have ( ... )
