7. Sloth
Harry was perfectly happy not to move. Ordinarily he'd be bored, just lazing around on the beach. But this beach was in the South of France and he was on his honeymoon. He had plenty of time to look out at the waves and occasionally take a dip in the ocean. He hadn't seen nearly enough of Elaine since he moved to Geneva and her presence was what he needed more than action. It was a welcome break from the stress of heading up UNIT Medical and he was sure Martha would be fine looking after it in his absence.

44. Baggage
Harry had learnt to travel light early in life. Going between home and school at the start of every term involved only as much as would fit in a large suitcase. University meant fitting everything into his small car but that hadn't been too much of a problem. The Navy involved travelling only with one holdall, which Harry found easy. It was better to be only allowed to take the necessities and not have the agonising decisions over what to leave behind.

Packing to live in Geneva for a year meant that all of Harry's possessions fit into a suitcase.

98. Author's choice - with the Brigadier
"How's Switzerland?" General Lethbridge-Stewart asked.

"By the time I've finished UNIT Medical will be better than you've ever seen it," Harry replied, pouring himself some more wine. "How's Peru?"

"I really ought to stop going on them and retire properly."

Despite the General's grumbles Harry smiled, knowing how the General really felt. "How does your wife cope with you being away?"

"I think she likes it. A little time apart is good for everyone, I think."

Given Harry's experiences of living in a different country to his fiancée he didn't agree, but perhaps it would improve after years of marriage.

85. Author's choice - Harry finishing uni
It was strange, leaving the place that had been his home for the past six years. But Harry had called more than one place home over the years and he was sure he'd find another. He'd gone from home to boarding school to university, and next he was going to the Naval College. From there he'd probably call various places home. But he didn't mind; he was happy to be a wanderer for a while. The one place he really thought of as home was long since gone with his mother, which was part of the reason he signed up.

24. Shore
Harry frowned. There was a lady selling sea shells. He'd always thought that anyone was free to pick them up, but curiosity compelled him to go over there and have a look. Her shells were different from the ones he normally found on the beach. They were prettier and more colourful, but he didn't have any money to buy one.

Then he saw the sign.

"I'll give you one free shell if you can say that five times fast," the lady said, pointing to the sign.

The sign said, 'She sells seashells on the sea shore.'

He couldn't, of course.
