OK.. let's just start by saying that last night proved without a shadow of a doubt that they are a complete joke

i like their music.... not them..... natalie acted like she was smashed, everytime they got up to accept an award.... i wanted to smack her.. at least the other 2 had some decorum... i can figure out why they were even nominated... they havent done anything REALLY good since their 1st cd....

i didnt even watch the whole thing.... it was mainly jsut backgroud noise while studying...

Didn't you know it's the Grammy Awards? It's the most predictable of shows! They are always playing safe so don't expect them to be any better unless Mariah Carey is nominated again because it's so fun for everyone to see her leave empty handed. And definitely it has some political orientations and so are the other award shows worldwide. Although The Dixie Chicks are entitled to say what they want and have always won Grammys in the past, they weren't nearly as better than the other nominated artists this year so that's unfair to start with.

I agree with you that picking the Dixie Twits for 5 Awards was probably political. I thought most of their stuff wasn't even being played on Country stations anymore, but on Top 40 stations.
