"david willis must be wetting his pants right now" anonymous December 2 2009, 05:33:32 UTC
yeah. saw that phrase floating somewhere across the internet!

honestly im really not a fan of it. the mold really isnt that wonderful (wtf with that transformation) and i actually think that the orange, blue, and white clash horribly together. and he dosnt even come with his minicon (so far as we know) *shakes head*

i would never hold collectors obsession against anyone but its just not the toy for me.

poor ethan. one glimmer of hope, and a crushing blanket of Boobs.

He definitely comes with the Mini-Con. Pete Sinclair said he does on the Club Members boards.

You know... I always liked the Universe Hot Shot toy. And I thik that Dion coloring looks kinda cool, in that 1980's sorta way. I know a lot of people always give that toy grief because of his back kibble, but I don't agree. A simple re-arrangement of the back kibble, and hes not only stable but a little more accurate to me. Just kinda pop off the back kibble, since they come off easier than some pegs that are supposed to seperate (looking at you Energon Hot Shot's legs) and swap them to the other hole.

Arms move up, without the kibble getting in the way and he's kinda got a 'faux' inverted spoiler. But if they're complaining because of the lack of missile launchers and you can't put a damn Star Saber in his hands... Then yeah, I got nothing. :P

The thing though is that Dion HAS back kibble. Check his Wiki article, first picture gives him this huge back kibble

It works great with Hotshot because of that kibble

Yeah, that's one thing I noticed but haven't brought up. Both Dion and Hot Shot have giant pairs of blocky kibble on their backs.

The rest, uh, is left up to the color scheme.

Hmmm... You're absolutely right. I didn't think of it that way. He is a good fit for it.

I have to say I was impressed by the amount of work you put into the Cheetor article after I added the cartoon stuff (and the caption on that one Beast Machines screencap makes me laugh every time)

Aw, dammit! My membership expires March 5th!

It would really depress me to renew just to get Dion. I don't even like that mold, I just kinda like the idea of my Elite Guard having a fifth member.

Yeah, most people's memberships expire just before the deadline. That's why they have the deadline. :)

Potentially silly question: is Punch/Counterpunch supposed to be available next year? Or is that just way too early, since last I heard they only had sketches?

I painted spots on mine ten years ago, so he wasn't, uh, pristine enough for a TFwiki image.
