His glitter face makes him look like a harlot.

Glad I didn't buy Crankcase...

I almost didn't, because I'd grown tired and frustrated with the mold. But it was Crankcase!

The yellow face alone makes it worth a purchase!

I actually had no remorse in Crankcase as I had not picked up the mold yet. Lucky me he happened to be both an homage to my one of my favorite TF years and have a fun bio.

I am both delighted that I got the background joke, and saddened that I really don't think there's anyone else I can tell that would get it.

No. That one's obvious. Every Transfan (who reads Shortpacked) knows who Rorza is.
I wonder if it's got something to do with those weird symbols floating in the air. They almost look like the magical floaty symbols out of the Heliothaumic webcomic that I only just stumbled upon this evening through a DIFFERENT webcomic.
Could it be the line about space rain?
The year? 2047? No. Nothing on the wiki about that.

Rorza, the rocket-cycle racer from Rigel III?

Is it sad that I actually remember reading that issue when it came out?

Wow, took 'em that long to get Optimus on a motorcycle? I was only gonna give it two decades.

Perhaps the design for the Dodge Magnum is some sort of secret universal message--the first in a series of clues embedded in the minds and/or physical makeup of every sentient being on every planet in the universe, and uncovering and interpreting all these clues will lead to an understanding of the secret of life, the universe, and everything.

Or maybe you believe the conspiracy theorists who say that somebody just wasn't paying attention. Crazy bastard.

So, you're saying that the Dodge Magnum is the same sort of universal subconscious knowledge as the Universal Greeting is?

(Hmm, given that it's Kup, and that he's the guy who *introduced us* to the Universal Greeting, perhaps that works in some sort of poetic sense. And also, the legs on that mold are brilliant.)
