You described it very poetically.

I have mixed feelings about the whole soulmate issue. One part of me believes that in life we have more than one soulmate, and it does not necessarily have to come in the shape of lovers either. A cynical part of me thinks that this is more for fiction. Yet the utopian part of me wants to think that they do exist...
