i recall getting in some pretty heated arguments in the caricature days with jerry over this issue. to be honest i cant remember what my opinions were.

i was disappointed in the ending. the guy in the mainframe said it was their goal to make it seem like you were free...

so imagine this....neo gets out of the matrix, only to find out that he's actually in an outer matrix. Because if you get out of he first matrix, you think you are free, but you're really in the outer matrix that houses the inner matrix?!

that would have been a genius move. but nooo, they had to have neo make love to some giant robot at the end.
