I am assuming the reason no-one is posting is because everyone is feeling disillusioned by the election result. While I am extremely happy about the result for the Greens I am really struggling to understand why so many people voted for TA. Once again I am depressed about feeling out of touch with so many people I share this great country with.

Most countries seem to be about half full of fucking idiots. The question today is if Australia is more or less than half full.

If it's really a hung parliament, then it'll be interesting to see if anyone gets anything through.

I just can't understand it at all - they stand for nothing except self-interest.

But the Labor Party need to look to themselves and think about how much of their traditional support base they have lost over the years by marching to the Right. I was a lifelong Labor voter - junior member and adult member and they lost me with their treatment of refugees a few years ago. It broke my heart.
