Wow, the voice you've got here, for both Kirsty and Mary Anne, is absolutely impeccable. If it weren't for the girlcrush, this wouldn't read like fanfiction at all (and maybe even then).

. 'Tentatively' was one of our vocabulary words last semester, and when we learned it, I thought immediately that Kristy was the opposite of 'tentative.' She never hesitates for a second. Not about saying what's on her mind, or organizing a project, or righting a wrong, or even announcing to basically the entire school that she wants to date girls, not boys.

OMG. BEST EVER.

This whole thing... I love in-the-style of BSC fic, and this is just perfect, really. So totally in character. I love that Dawn's the only one who knows, and I love Or worse, what if she was proud of me for liking girls, but she didn't like me back?

And your additions to the canonical Differences Between Mary Anne And Dawn are great - needless to say, I adore the idea of Mary Anne loving girlie folk rock.

Wow, this is FANTASTIC. You've really got Mary Anne and Kristy down. Especially Mary Anne, the way you write her is perfect. Loved this! :)

[Also wanted to let you know that I know I owe you Kristy/Mallory fic; it's been one of those ridiculous weeks where I had it written and then went on vacation and forgot my laptop and now that I'm home, said laptop is dead and someone is trying to salvage the files on it for me. I'm probably going to have to just rewrite it, which is sort of unfortunate, but I feel bad. Anyway, just wanted to let you know, I didn't forget--and sorry!]
