Ok . . . So, I looked it up damn it.
Ca-Noodling = To engage in caressing, petting, or lovemaking.
Noodling = Wrestling a catfish.
If I were in the deep south and ask for some canoodling, I could have ended up getting more then I anticipated.
How in the hell are these words so close? You gotta love the english language.

I think that the reason why those words are so close has something to do with the mentality of those who would "noodle" with catfish.
