If I moved to Europe, I would tell everyone I'm Canadian. I totally understand the anti-American sentiment. I disagree with nearly everything the government has done since 1998.

If I was to really think about it I am not fond of Blair and his policies. But I don't assume all of Britain is behind him. From what I have read your government is slowly getting into the same boat ours is already in.

When I was over in London in April of last year, I saw a rally, which I understood to be an anti-American rally. It really made me feel uncomfortable and unwanted. I was on the big red bus tour when I saw it and I was slouched in my seat, as if they could tell that I was an American from the ground. Silly, really, I was.

In any case, I did not vote for Bush nor do I believe in ANY of his policies. How in God's name he got voted in, not once but, twice, is beyond my comprehension.

Anyone that judges ALL Americans by the president is mislead, as the votes show the country was divided this past election. All I can hope for is a better president in 2008 that will change the way other countries view our citizens. It's not fair. :(
