Arriving in Nairobi

I left Charlotte at 1:30 yesterday afternoon; I’m now sitting in my hotel room in Nairobi at 11:30pm - which is about 26 hours later. My flights were uneventful, aside from an annoying lady next to me on the flight to Amsterdam, which was more than made up for by the quiet guy who sat next to me on the flight to Kenya. Friends of mine were in Nairobi this summer on a missions trip (http://cotcpamoja09.blogspot.com/) and they loved the people and the country. Several have planned to go back. I'm looking forward to reading about your adventures. :)

I didn't get to see much of Kenya, but what I did I really liked - I need to go back! I'm working on the journals....very slowly! :)

I'm jealous of your camera.

I'm interested in reading your journals to get a different picture to the ones my dad's side of the family paint.

I actually have two - my Canon G9 and my SLR. I love them both! :)

Most of my trip was in Tanzania, and I felt completely safe the whole time.

Oh and I'd have to be knocked out to travel for 26 hours! I don't know how you do it. I wouldn't wake for a week after that.

The 8 hour time difference was the worst - but it's not as bad as you'd think!
