One of the best things about book blogging is the chance to meet other people who love to read as much as I do. I'm learning which bloggers have similar tastes to me. Some bloggers make me laugh, others inspire me to try out new books and authors. And over time I feel like I know you all, just because I've read and enjoyed your blogs so much. But

Thanks for this little insight into your life! I too am in my mid twenties, I'm getting my graduate degree in Political Science. And I too am a character person all the way in the battle of plot vs. character.

I always wished I'd taken more political science classes in school. I enjoyed the ones I did take, but I think more would have been a good supplement to my history studies.

It's interesting; most of the bloggers I read also seem to be more interested in strong characters than strong plot. But I think that makes it easier for me to trust their recommendations, because I know that they look for some of the same things I do in a good book.
