New Video!!- Toxic Faint
So...has anyone seen "The Faculty"? It is probably my favourite movie at the moment- I absolutely adore it! Its quite an odd film, your typical 90s teen thriller with actors who are quite well known now (Josh Hartnett, Elijah Wood, Jordana Brewster, Clea Duvall, Jon Stewart, Selma Hayek) but weren't so much back then. The storyline has some minor plot issues but the entire movie as a whole is quite well done and all the characters are incredible likeable (and based on the 5 main characters of The Breakfast Club!). So much love!
Anyways, enough movie ramble, I am actually really proud of the outcome of the video. Its working with my resolution to change my editing style to be more focused on simple, cut to cut, editing, limiting the addictive dissolves I use as well as the fancy white flashes that attatch themselves during the transition to every glowy part of the clip (and thats the official name for it!). I tend to notice that if I cut back on fading (I think this video is actually completely fade free) from clip to clip than I focus more on the motion of the editing and making things flow more seamlessly. Hopefully you guys notice and appreciate that when watching it hehe. Feeback is love!!
