This is going to sound like a potentially suspicious question, but do any of you fine people have National Park Service friends through which I can purchase NPS accoutrements? Alternatively, are any of you current NPS employees? Either of these things would be good ( Read more... )

I worked for the Forest Service this past summer and all I know is that they were pretty hardcore about getting the badge back when I left for Chicago. Not sure if that's always been the case, but I imagine so. There's a lot of rules about what you can and cannot do in uniform/with your badge on so yeah, I'm pretty sure there's not many floating around.

Just realized you meant the spurs and not the badge, but basically, same deal. And only full-time employees get accoutrements like belt buckles and whatnot (I was a seasonal), I imagine getting your hands on spurs would be tricky.
