I forgot to tell you the first time around how much I appreciated this particular visual:
Akanishi stands outside the chain-link fence with a drink in one hand, and the other pushed into the pocket of his neat slacks, the long front panel of his camel coat tucked behind his elbow.
Akanishi stared at him for a long minute, unsure if he'd heard the prosecutor right. "You want cops," he said slowly, and there was a hint of wonder in his voice. He chuckled softly. "I don't believe it."
I don't usually read Akame, but since it's you I had to check it out. I'm glad I did! This is a really cool fic. *__*
Oh, my goodness, thank you so much for taking a chance! ♥ I'm so happy you like it! A part of me wishes that Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe were more slashable, because I loved them together so much in the film, but I just couldn't do it, so you get Akame instead. ;)
Awww, thank you very much, honey! ♥ I've been writing so much over the last year, but not finishing anything, so I'm very pleased to be able to enter this fic in the "finished" column!!
I could never end this one unhappily!! According to the film, Frank Lucas and Richie Robbins became good friends and Robbins became Lucas' defense attorney, which just fascinated me to no end. :)
woah, this was good! I cannot say i totally understood it, but I think that is not really what is necessary to create the mood and the images, those were totally there. This was an interesting approach all seeming more like curiosity, lust and desire, but the oh-so-sweet 15 years after part makes it end on such a nice note, loved it ♥
Oh, I'm so glad you like it, especially if you didn't entirely understand the premise. Very simply Kame is a prosecutor who catches Jin, a huge gangster. They then work together to uncover massive amounts of police corruption due to Jin informing on his network of police contacts who were involved in his criminal activities.
And as much as I love angst, I love happy endings, too. :) Thank you so much for reading and your comment.

I love the idea of Kame being the one thing Jin can't buy and the way he respects him for this.
I'll admit I thought you were going to give us an unhappy ending so I'm ridiculously pleased to see a resolution!
Thank you for sharing! <3333
