Bad Moon on the Rise

Just a heads up to let you know there is going to be a total lunar eclipse on Wednesday, February 20th starting at 8:43PM EST. I hope your weather (and mine) will cooperate.

Really, you should watch. They're incredibly cool!

Just wanted to say thanks for the heads-up about the eclipse! The clouds cleared out just enough to be able to see it. It was very cool (and cold, despite watching from inside) to see!

You're welcome! It was great wasn't it?! It was clear here (and cold!) but we could just look out the back door and watch the whole thing!

SQUEES for the eclipse!

Yes! We were at the perfect angle from the side of the house my room is on to watch it, so we didn't have to go outside (and freeze!!). And my dad even got out our old telescope, which didn't really help much, but still, was pretty fun to use! :D

We never even thought about using the telescope! Silly us! But Dad took some pics. I don't know how they turned out though. If they're any good, I'll post some.

And it was nice of the weather to cooperate for once!
