What. The. Hell.

That's the stupidest story I've heard in a while.

If you could, file a report of inappropriate behavior with the sheriff's office. That is one trigger happy officer.

I read this and then I read this to Devon (I promise she can read, but I was eager, so I chose to read it to her, anyway) and we can't believe it. What bad luck. Stupid frickin' cop - that's why people dog y'all. Sorry buddy! Have you got your money back? Did the butthole, I mean - officer, apologize?

???

Later,

Justin

I got my $1,000 bond back, but I'm still out about $250 from processing fees and fees my bondswoman charged me to get me out.

I've yet to run into Officer Cornell again since all of this. When I knew I was going to get served papers to testify at this other guy's trial, and that it was probably going to happen at my work (which did happen, and was both hilarious and lame) I was hoping he would be the one to deliver them, so I could make an over-dramatic scene demanding he apologize before I accept the subpoena. Sadly, it was just a normal, nice cop. But if I ever do run into Cornell again, I'm sure I'll say something smarmy.
