I sincerely hope that most precincts do not vote in the same method I did, with a comically large sheet of paper and drawing little lines to connect arrows.

I'm sorry but I'll take a paper ballot over electronic machines ANY DAY. All the machines out in the current market as just too easy to corrupt. At least the paper can (eventually) be recycled.

There's still options.
a) Mechanical machine b) A paper ballot that's not retarded huge. If a 4th grader can figure out a Scantron sheet, so can an adult.
I have hope for recycling, but something tells me they're all boxed up and stored in a warehouse somewhere for a long long time, in case there's ever an investigation.

You know, Canada and the EU use a #2 pencil and Scantron forms for all of their elections and their results are back and out to the public in just a few hours - and that's without reporting the results until all of the polling stations close. It really is nice when you have a nationalized voting system, instead of our ghetto system where each state has their own method...
