I almost joined ONTD today because I find it hilariously/sadly ironic that in this post wherein they discuss Exene Cervenka's recent cray-cray conspiracy theories, a majority of the comments made by allllllllllll these women who for the last week have been saying stuff like, "WE'RE PEOPLE! livejournal, public, gender rage, exene, ontd, getting mad at people on the internet

I noticed that with Amal Alamuddin as well. Brilliant, successful human rights lawyer gets herself a super hot Hollywood trophy husband like a BOSS and is reduced to "Gorge Clooney's fiancé" as if she's getting the better end of the deal. Um, how about no.

Right? This stuff is so infuriating. :( The fact that they're marrying one another is nowhere near as important as the good works they've done separately. (I'm not a big Clooney fan, but I do support his humanitarian efforts)

LOL, I love the idea of "reducing" GCloons to "super hot hollywood trophy husband." ;)

Oh, I rarely pay attention to actors' personal lives, so I was basing my "trophy husband" comment off his mediocre acting career. He really is gorgeous, though, like a young Cary Grant. I had no idea that he was doing documentaries and raising money for disaster victims until I Googled "George Clooney humanitarian". Oops.

Ugh, it's past my bedtime already! Stupid hour-long morning commute...
