We got this on DVD a few days ago. After two episodes, I'm sold. I shall be savouring the next twenty and then plotting a path to obtaining the next season. Maybe one day I'll find a couple of mint seventies-to-eighties police specials* and a riding partner.

*not totally unlikely - kai-loi had a Yamaha one for a while.

I love that theme music! Does the series stand the test of time?

I think it does but I've only watched two episodes so far and I am easily amused. You can judge for yourself - AOL video has episodes. Only for viewing within the USA, but I think you can handle that.

It's watchable that's for sure. We sat with the kids and they were happy to catch an episode or two. It's the kind of family viewing that no one seems to produce anymore. The other thing we own (mum got it for the kids) is The Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew on dvd, that's fun to watch as well.

I just want a TV channel that plays the old stuff. Stratos (on Freeview) does a good job with movies having weekly horror, sci-fi and bollywood movie slots. I guess I'll just wait until it's all on DVD and has been out long enough to drop in price.
How about Iron Eagle? I found a place in NZ to buy that online - that may be the next on the wishlist.

I may never have seen BMX Bandits. However, it is at the local video store and Christmas holidays approach.
