Ah, sweet, sweet writing habit... how I've missed you. *pets cozy little purring thing that's either my ego or the kitten, since I'm too lazy to actually get up and turn on the lights*

The readership, however, has not missed much. Unless they want my newly-discovered fabulous recipe for beef Stroganoff, and that probably needs to wait until I tinker ( Read more... )

So glad you have found another position - - I love home furnishings - all that extra frippary that one really does not need. Mind you I tend to be a browser more than a buyer, love touching cushions and fabrices, but something in my head tells me to put stuff down before I get to the checkout.

So now you have to just wait till year end for the big move to Burlington?

I really should write something on my blog - I actually have some stuff going on in my life - - just to lazy to put it in words....

Thanks! I'm pleased with it myself -- I can definitely relate better to home fashion than I can, uh, people fashion.

Yep, Phase Two is the move to Burlington -- or possibly Oakville next door, the plan could stand a bit of refining yet. For now, though, summer ahoy!

And yes, you should write something! I've missed you. :)

Move to Oakville?! anonymous May 14 2010, 11:32:52 UTC
Hi Shoe .... I know I'm a ghost from the past, but I think you know I do lurk occasionally. It was your Oakville comment that got me to stick my head out of the sand for a second. I am still here and, especially if you are looking in the summer, would love to drive you around to get you oriented. My only caution is to make a really good study of the transit schedules before committing to anything.

Well, hello there! Yes, I had an idea -- and I'm glad. :)

Thanks for the offer, and the caution. I had already been poring over the GO tables to little avail, so any and all advice gratefully accepted.
