...Just in case you were wondering.

Yesterday was a very odd day at work, as I imagine most of this type are. I don't want to say anything else about it, on account of this company has a privacy policy that makes North Korea look like Happy Fun Land, and wouldn't it be just too ironic if I got fired for blogging about layoffs? Ha ha ha...whoops.

Thanks much. No, it wasn't that big a taste. :) It's only a fill-in while he's on vacation. But hey, right at the moment I'm all about having a salary regardless, so it's all good.

I too was thinking of you when I heard the news. I am sure there was a huge sigh of relief that you found you had kept your job.

Management... comes with it's own set of highs & lows, sometimes it's best just to get to enjoy it on a fill in basis.

Re: management, I think I know what you mean. I was appreciating this particular post because it involved hands-on problem-solving; would not enjoy being stuffed in an office all day going to meetings.

Besides...I gotta admit, I did miss the gang from the trenches. They have cookies on Fridays. :)
