...D'ya think I'd be any good as a talk-show running person?

I mean, I like talking about everyone and all, but I thought talk-shows were about something different. Not sure in what way, exactly. Or it could be like Goten-kun said, except instead of "going on dates with everyone" - since I have someone already, y'know - I could take turns talking ( Read more... )

Talking about people... how, exactly?

Like, about their good points. Or helping them find what they need, asking on their behalf, that kinda thing.

Sounds like it might be a good thing, if the people involved are willing!

Hm... I guess I'd have to ask them first, huh? Seems kinda counter-intuitive, or whatever the word is...

You've got competition.

Didn't that Ninja-type girl want this same job?

Also, leave me outta it..

Oh, did she? Then she's welcome to it, of course.

But I was thinking more like matchmaking, except without romance. Like I could tell everyone someone's good points, and then they'd want to be friends with them. Like so.

Yeah. I think so, or something like it..

Err.. matchmaking without romance? That sounds like you, alright. Just don't blush too hard when you're sayin' people's names.

Y-yeah and did I mention to leave me out of it?

I wouldn't need to matchmake Shinji anyway, since you're already the popular type.

And because you're shy~

Wait, why are you running a talk show? I mean, it could be fun, but the TVs don't work or anything! ...Usually.

Oh, well, I wasn't really gonna. I was just talking about it with Goten-kun, and then I was thinking. Although I guess if I was serious, I could just write or talk over these things. Or yell stuff in the middle of the street.

Oh! Yeah, I guess you could use the video option...but it'd be pretty hard to do. Yelling in the streets would be fun to watch, but I bet it'd get tiring after a while!

Well, I'm very energetic, you know. I'd be more worried about monsters eating me while I was yelling than getting tired.

So you'd just invite people on and...compliment them?

No, not like that. I'd pick someone and talk about them to other people. Like if it was you, I'd tell everyone about your good points, and people would go, "Oh, Goten-kun seems like a nice guy, okay, I'll go and be friends with him." Like that.

Except without romance. I'm not looking for one and it's not my place to set up others, after all.

That seems kinda... Frivolous... But maybe it could be fun? Good luck?

Well, I'm ninety percent joking, but even besides that, I think it's okay to have fun sometimes.

Can't really deny that... In this place, I feel like I'm always either bored, upset, or angry.

It's not a good combination.

I agree. To be honest, I think the high stress here is a big reason why there are so many fights. It's pretty understandable, and kinda obvious, but it's worrying. As well, even though there aren't so many people here, people are slow to approach strangers. It's maybe a little silly, but I feel like if everyone had some fun and knew one another better, this place would be somewhat easier to deal with.
