...According to my English cookbook, those are the ingredients for a meat pie. I found a pie crust recipe that doesn't take butter, just oil. Although one of these days we really gotta figure out what that "churning" stuff is. The first couple of ingredients are

You can substitute garlic and onion powder, I found some in a spice cabinet.

As for oatmeal...well, there's a box of it the scientists have left for us in the kitchens, but its the instant packet kind, and I'm not sure it would work, and...they're apple cinnamon and maple brown sugar flavored.

Apple is sometimes a flavor that goes pretty well with meat, but I'm not so sure about cinnamon...

I'm also wondering about the maple flavor. Some sweetness might be sort of nice. I wonder if there's enough ingredients to make both.
