Yesterday was a long day at work. I knew Leila would be on her way to Beirut before I would get home for the evening so I was in no rush. I stayed for 9 hours, instead of the usual 8. First of the month is always a busy day. I had lunch at the Carlyle Club. It looks like the type of place goodfellas would hang out. The place is packed with Ruskies

Mexicans vary by region. Here, Mexicans are Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, and Ecuadorians.

Also, (to make my previous point completely hypocritical) the Eastern Europeans you see in DC-MD are only there for the summer and most are from Czech, Slovakia, and Bulgaria. When I was a lifegurard in 2001 half my coworkers were Czech or Slovak.

They're definitely Russian and Ukrainian. I make a point to speak to each and every on them as soon as I hear their accent. I brought Pavel(Russian) to Projekt Revolution and we met a bunch of Ukrainians and we tailgated with them before going into the show. And I was talking with the hostess and my waitress at the Carlyle Club near my work and they both said they were from Russia.
