You wrote SMU as the university and i was lol-ing at the fact that SMU is an actual university here in singapore, which stands for "Singapore Management University" and i was like ,"*gasp* omg, singapore university!" until i realized you probably meant it like SM University :P I got amused.

this plot is really interesting and honestly, i can't wait to see some plot and character development :D yay!
