Don't feel bad, you're not a looser! You try hard & you actually care about being a productive member of society. Unfortunately, there's not always enough work or the right kind of work to go around, especially to those of us that worked so hard for our degrees ( ... )

Look have you ever thought of Education Viv? I know you said you hated teaching but you said so yourself you used to CORRECT your teachers. I made 300 dollars today for three hours work in a highschool, sure a kid screamed at me but for 300 dollars? worth it.

What I mean is you dont have to do teaching as a "career" persay you could do a one year debit ( which centrelink gives you auststudy for) then do casual work. I have a friend in sydney with NO interest in education but she's happy to make 600 dollars a week doing two days casual work while she does her arty stuff.

Hun, it's not you; it's the friggin' SYSTEM (which is run by The Man FYI)
Basically, people who get ahead are either too stupid to do ANYTHING by themselves & sucker everyone in to helping them or complete sociopaths.
Fortunately, this is not a sustainable position, so either their methamphetamine tolerance disappears or they get stabbed/shot/glassed by their spouse (which ever comes first)

It's just that you haven't settled for a QUICK FIX is all. Things are only in the shit for now, things will change, or you'll come across an opportunity that will make good on your choices.
