First things first - it was properly epic. And the first time I've been to a film showing in which the entire audience applauded at the end. That was a little surreal...

don't wanna read don't wanna read don't wanna read....who am I kidding I know all the spoilers from the news lol

I avoided the midnight showing, I was supposed to go but I did not want to go with my friend who insisted on bringing his kids. He's never read the books, has no understanding of HP (usually falls asleep during the films) and doesn't get why his kids who are all under the age of 15 are traumatized after seeing the movies. Friend = retard. And I really think the movies should have a higher rating than PG-13, they're not 'kids' films.

When I heard about how they changed Snape's death I was concerned as he's my favorite character, I love to hate him. Alan Rickman is GOD.

I may go tomorrow afternoon but more than likely I'll wait a few weeks now to avoid the kiddies.

Haha nevermind. You'll enjoy it anyway ^^ They didn't really change Snape's death so much as put it in a different place. He's still killed by the snake (in an albeit more graphic and realistic way than a floating bubble). The only difference besides the location is that Harry collects his tears rather than a strand of memory.

I'm dying to see it but my mother's busy with work and she's since forbidden me to go without her lol - she rarely goes to the movies and we usually go see the book films together. I was going to sneak off today and see it but I did a stupid and walking isn't an option at the moment.

HAH! I'd say, they couldn't've done a more ambivalent movie, had they wanted to. I mean, on one hand, it IS epic and awesome and all that. On the other tho...wouldn't be surprised if MTV decided to give it a special award at the next Movie Awards, something labeled like "Lamest Scenes in a movie"... there were so many of those it wasn't even funny, I swear. -_- It's just weird.
Still, totally enjoyable though, even with a 50+% muggle audience I guess.

Ha, interesting take xD I didn't think there were many lame scenes, but whatever the case the epic moments certainly forced them out of your mind. This movie was all go, and it was an awesome way to end the series.
