Can you immortalize Delenn by adding her to your story? I posted a pic of her, she was a mix between siamese and your common american brown tabby, with an irregular coat pattern but the tabby striped tail. Had the most amazing blue eyes for a cat. She was very talkative to people, very aloof and borederline hostile towards other cats, but was a purr machine who loved all the scritchings she could get. She didn't like men, but loved women. Loved windows and splashing around in her water dish.
I've made Delenn the leader of the cats that live in Paris. I don't know how true to her personality I'll be able to stay, but I figured I'd give her a position of power. :)
Mardi Gras: long haired muted calico. she has a black spot at the corner of her nose that my mom always thinks is a booger. she's on the small side, but she looks average because of all the hair. she's flighty, but loves to be petted. if you pet her wrong she will let you know by taking off your hand. and then beg to be petted some more (but do it right this time, dammit).
Yoda: white with grey patches (grade 6 on this chart). he had a short, thick coat with very silky guard hairs. he was trained to jump on my shoulder on command at one point, but got lazy in his old age. he liked to bat ice around the kitchen floor and we used to use the ice maker to get him to come out of hiding because of this. he would also jump up and bat pine cones tossed at him. he was tormented as a kitten by the children of a friend who cat-sat while we were on vacation once, and for years after that the sound of the doorbell, even on tv, would send him racing for a hiding spot in the garage or under our bed
( ... )
Suzl: how could i forget suzl? she was a fluffy, long-haired, blue cream (even more bleached out than muted calico). she came here "just for a week," while her owner was out of town, but she never left. her main personality feature was that she was stupid. actually, she made stupid look smart. we referred to her as an asparagus. she had three brain cells and had to stop one primary function in order to take up another because her poor little brain couldn't do two things at once. she purred almost constantly. when she came to stay for the week her litter box was in the bathroom. once it was clear she wasn't leaving we moved it to the garage with the rest of the boxes. she wasn't smart enough to make the transition and kept elminating in the bathroom for the rest of her life if we didn't keep the door closed. even my vet once looked at me, hopeful, and said, "she's a pretty cat." yeah. she was mostly just there, not having the capacity for much more. she was soft and liked petting and eating and purring, and that's about

Jinx was a lavender point Siamese. The cat was nuts.
Spaz was a tortoise shell. She would nose dive into Ed's arm pits. She was an Old Spice kinda girl.
