Hehehe, well, if anyone can help me, it'd be an employment counsellor. :D

I would like to either apply for another document control job, or a graphic design job (preferably something in print, rather than web design).

Hmm, it involves a lot of quality checking, making sure the documents that the engineers have submitted are correct (i.e. that they have crossed their t's and dotted their i's, so to speak). We upload the documents into our information database; attribute them; distribute the hard copies to our engineers and clients; correspond with a lot of people, etc.

If Tracey reads this, she might be able to include more to that description. ^0^

Last night, I couldn't help but realise that I'm your only girl cousin on the Randell side (unless I'm forgetting someone... that's what happens when you don't go home!). Hehehe, I'm flattered though, and can say the same for you. :) Last night I was looking through flickr pictures and I saw one of your room with the Rocky Horror poster, and thought, "Damn, we'd get along so well."

Ok from the training that all the leads had to take this year. A 2 ranking PER item IE Flexibility means you had to have been spoken to about it and it has to be documented in your file. A 1 means progressive discipline... I would definitely bring that up with Victor. Sheesh I'm so behind that I haven't even done my interviews with the girls yet!

I haven't gone to see Victor yet, but I fully intend to! The more I think about it, the more I feel like Lyn is just trying to "squeeze out the competition" for lack of a better way to put it. Not like I'm going to take her job or even want to, but she's so desperate to come out on top.

Yet today, she spent a good two hours working on our team's gingerbread house... and yesterday spent at least that long looking up samples for gingerbread house designs! She still takes so many smoke breaks, personal calls, etc, although the one improvement is that she doesn't disappear without being accounted for anymore.

ARGH! Seriously, one of these days, I'm going to quit. I really feel like I'm at that point now. I mean, the performance review made me realise how much control she has over my reputation and fate in this company, and her grudge is going to hold me back. The worst thing is, Gill was there and didn't say a word in my defense--and, as I mentioned, my communication skills were always ranked one of my highest skills. I've had Gill, ( ... )
