Masquerade

I saw Phantom of the Opera in Calgary this weekend. It was... amazing. If you ever get a chance to see it, don't pass it up. By the end, I couldn't muster up my normal holler during the bow. "Regardless of whether you think I was weak, stupid or unresponsible". After what you've been through I think you deserved a break and if people can't understand that and keep berading you about it, they are not your real friends. I constantly get put down by people for not going to school but right now I am doing what I like to do and I'm damn good at it too :P

Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it. :)

You're going to laugh at me! This morning while in the shower, out of nowhere I thought, "Geez, I think I wrote 'unresponsible' in my LiveJournal! I'll have to change that to 'irresponsible'." hahaha

definitely agreeing with tracy, here. no one should really be criticizing you for being out of school except for yourself. if you needed time off from school (which most people do after 4 years), then you definitely made the right choice.

While you might be aiming at being a graphic designer, if you rush headlong into it without taking a breather, then it'll get on your nerves and such, and you'll lose the fun of it- kinda like why im taking a (semi-almost-too-long) break from music and the technical side of such...

Thanks very much, and I agree! We should check out some of the things around Edmonton (Taste of Edmonton, Shakespeare, etc) AAAND if you're interested: I haven't gotten the tickets yet (I'm hoping they're not sold out!), but Dan Bern is coming on July 25th. Sidetrack, 8pm, I think $20. I know you'd like him and I'd love to check it out!
