I STILL haven't seen WALL-E or Dark Knight, which is killing me. But, in the last two days I've seen--

1) No Country for Old Men - Fantastic film. I especially loved the lack of musical scoring. Curiously, it made the movie more intense to have huge action sequences with only sound effects. Perfect for the tone. Also, Javier Bardem's performance ( Read more... )

I haven't the two you have....personally, Pan's Labyrinth seems too creepy and depressing for my tastes.

Your VCR must have caught my VCR's bitchwhore disease, cuz it just crapped out on me too. Did they all decide to commit suicide at the same time or what?

Wall-e is adorable (pssst, you may be able to find it on youtube or something...?). I haven't seen Dark Knight, yet, either! D:

No Country for Old Men did look pretty good; I'll have to check it out~ OMG PAN'S LABYRINTH. My sister bought it and made me watch it and I FELL IN LOVE.

D: VCRs like to crap out on people, I've noticed! I hope you can find a new one. (Uh. I think they still sell them...?)
