Today my sister and I were watching Queer As Folk when my Dad walked in and -- much to our surprise -- sat down and watched it with us. Awesome things happened as a result of this.

Your dad sounds awesome!

My step dad is extremely homophobic and closed minded, while my real dad has always been very supportive of gay people. When I was little, he once went on a rant about tolerance and it always stuck with me. I dunno...maybe my dad has a touch of gay about him, but I'll never know.

It's always nice to see fathers being awesome like that. You're very lucky ^^

That is very cool, seeing as most people raised in those enviroments never find/try to find their own opinion about it. I wish my mom was that understanding(but then, she's older than most moms with 20-something children.)
