I definitely like that last comment by Jae to Boa. Knocked her down a peg or two.
Now about this whole Jae character being weak thing. I honestly don't see him as weak at all. What he does have is very low self-esteem and self-confidence. Considering what he's been through, it's understandable.
What I love about him is his goodness, his kindness. Especially considering he's been homeless and bullied and harassed. His experiences could have turned him into a real bitter asshole. Instead, he retained his kind heart. And that shows real strength of character.

Yes, with his past, JJ could've turned out to be completely different but he grew up to be a peace-loving person with a kind heart. But I guess that counts as weak to some people :'D I didn't even realize he could come off that way tbh

Weak? No, not really.
I think he's too polite for his own good at times. However, Boa and Ara pose a difficult problem. After all he can't just slap them and any talk back won't stop them.
I did love how he talks back here. Boy has lots of hidden inner strength.
Oh and that love scene? Sexy and sweet. These two have a really loving relationship. It's good how Jae trusts Yunho even not knowing with he's planning.
Very curious about Yoosu. ;)

Right, he can't use physical strength like the girls in his team would nor will him talking back actually shut them up permanently. And also, I guess in such a situation, he would do more damage by reacting to their words too strongly. He did talk back in this but I wanted to keep the way he talks back civil and calm although his words may cut deep.

I am so lol ing my ass off here at JaeJae's reply to the two bixes....oh they sooo deserve that...what a slap in the face huh to get told that someone would rather run away from home than have to be forced to get married to them hah...and Boa was so smug too...*takes out pom poms and throws confetti* yay for Jae!
I'm glad he is starting to stand up to them and yeah..would love to see how you will develop his character further..but from what I've read so far..it's gonna be awesome! Lol!
And Jae trusting Yunho like that...he's so wonderful...have I said I love him here? A big part of loving is trusting and it's nice to see that but why does Yunho not want to involve Jaejoong? Can't wait to find out about that part of the story...

haha I actually really enjoyed writing it xD I guess she can consider it a lessoned learned. Kim Jaejoong isn't that easy ;) I'm glad you like his character development so far :)

Hmm, well, I can see where the idea of Jaejoong being "weak" in this is coming from but I definitely believe that Jaejoong isn't portrayed as so in this. He just has low self-esteem which is really understandable with the environment that Jaejoong was suddenly placed in. But I'm glad to see some development on that with that bit where he speaks up to BoA after that rude comment she made. I look forward to the next chapter!

Yes JJ was never really confident to begin with so I wouldn't expect him to outright tell Boa and Ara off the first time they start to insult him. But he's getting more self-confident now ^.^
