Thirteen Days and 11 Lessons

Last night sarcasm-hime  and I went for BBQ dinner at the Agnerian residence.   After a meal of good steak, chicken, potatoes and tabouleh we watched some funny eps (6, 8 and 10 of season 5) of Penn & Teller's Bullshit, and then Thirteen Days starring Kevin Costner, Bruce Greenwood and Steven Culp.

That documentary is great... track it down and watch it if you haven't already done so (the library carries it).

McNamara's lessons predict the reasons for the failure in Iraq with freakish accuracy. I just had one of those 'saddened by the folly of the human race' moments. Not that we can do terrible things (which is bad enough) but that we can do them again and again.
