So yes I too shall umm...add mine to the collective list of pimping out that which has already been pimped out. Thanks to all those who reviewed this little ditty over on the forums. I thoroughly enjoyed reading everyone's thoughts on it.

Well, I certainly haven't found any clunky parts, and I've read this three times already. I already put it in my memories because it is excellent writing. All of the characterisations are spot on, Minako's especially, and this is definitely in my top three ficathon fics.
The idea is brilliant, and so is the execution. Also, you've made me curious: what is Minako referring to when she says "We all have our demons, General."? I finally get to ask! Phew! ^^

What was Minako referring to...maybe it was abstract and referring to the girl's collective struggles that the new presence of the Shitennou brings out.

Or maybe it is specific and that each senshi has their own power to keep in check, sins not to indulge in too deeply...

Or maybe it hints at a Silver Millienium that didn't sparkle quite so bright on further inspection. That their past selves and sins weigh heavily against who they wish to be in the here and now.

Honestly? It could be one or all of the above. lol

hmm, an interesting thought occurred to me. Adonis called Minako the "Goddess of beauty and war". Was it Kunzite or Nephrite that she was refering to when she asked about the Horseman of War? Either way, it makes an interesting comparison.

Anywho, I really liked this. It's a great idea as to why the guys are called the four Heavenly Kings. I also really like this interpretation of where their powers come from. It would be really awesome if you continued in this line of thought. ^_^

Nephrite is the Horseman of War, though whether or not Minako had worked that out or was guessing at Kunzite's title I haven't decided yet. I like to keep her steps ahead but only in so much that she has all the pieces not that they go together perfectly.

In my brain Neph is war, Jade is pestilence, Zoi is famine, and Kunzite is death.

This is not all solidified as well technically the four horsemen are in fact Conquest, War, Famine, and Death. But when I first thought it all out the above made the most sense. I'm still toying with the idea of making one of Conquest but I like the back story I came up for each of them that I'm loath to give it up.

In any event the whole concept is still in progress and if I'm really lucky one day will be two fairly epic fanfics lol.

I think it works out your way too. In a round-about way you could link conquest to pestilence...sort of. ^_^

I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with. I think you have a great idea to work with.

Like, so, so, sooooooooooo good! I can't help but want more though; more on what Minako was talking about that they all have their demons. Or more of the interactions between the Senshi and Shitennou.

But yeah.. SO GOOD!
