My only thought on names is Rinzler (thanks to Rinzler!kitty), but his/her colour scheme doesn't really match the title. Hmmm.

Figured it's a he, and oh my god when he purrs he sounds like Rinzler. It's amazing.

Was in a spice shop last week and picked up a bag of Indian Tellicherry whole peppercorn. Remembered thinking Tellicherry would be a great name for a black cat. But those eyes are making me think of Dune. Maybe Melange after the spice?
