The idea of a required tip is just fundamentally weird to me. Over here service is included in the asking price - I mean, yes there’s the occasional tip jar at the counter, but that’s more for loose coin than anything else. I just don’t get it. :|

I called my mom last week about how much to tip a hairdresser and I'm 27 >_> I'm pretty sure all that knowing how to tip a hairdresser says about you is how often you cut your hair. Silly mothers.

Am I remembering wrong, or do you actually live in your own apartment during the school year? Surely that has a lot more to do with living in the real world than a hairdressing tip.
