How do you come up with character names? I've got it set in my brain that they should be computer-y, and I'm drawing a blank.

Well Zaller's the last name of some guy whose paper I read for a class, Cyrus is a name that I've used in a lot of fics staring way back in 2008 (he's like my Kilgore Trout), Sen is Japanese, Caix is something I came up with when I was dissatisfied with the name Colain (her other names were Syf and Rhys), and Azeri's the name of a famous modern-day racehorse.

I find using 'x' and 'z' is a good place to start making up names. I also look at Greco-Roman names for help (Enyo's the name of a Greek goddess, for instance).

But mostly I just bullshit and dick around and fiddle with what sounds right.
