OKAY! 2nd day of work. x_x A little better. I feel a LITTLE less useless now. I felt so useless yesterday, I was on the verge of falling over and crying. First days of anything is ALWAYS the worst. Even in school. . . (Junior high, high school wasn't too bad. Minus the fact that in high school, I had a hard time making friends. >_> I had the same friends from Kindergarten to 8th grade. =_=; It's hard afterwards) @_@;;
I remember the first day of college, I felt like crying. XD I had a good reason why though! It was PAINTING class! I. . . never touched paint before (believe it or not! I never even touched acrylics, kthx! I only did watercolor in elementary!) so, yeah. . . I felt useless and I felt like curling up and growing shrooms in a closet like Tamaki.
So yes, kids. First day of _______. Don't cry. Everyone will go through it. Everyone was useless at one point in their life. You'll experience this EVERYWHERE. And it'll all go away in a month or so. >_>;
. . . yes, that was a reminder for myself. x_x; If I don't tell that to myself repeatededly, I'll probably be emo. And if I'm emo. . . I'll be even more useless since if I have time to be depressed. . . I rather study for what I can and do what I can do. =_=
o_o so, I went to the choco store on 78th-79th today (it's right by the MET museum) and well . . . I had an hour long lecture on how to wrap gifts without tape and how to wrap ribbons properly. @_@ I. . . felt so stupid since it took me SO long to remember how to tie bows all nice and pretty. x_X; They are SO anal. But. . . XD It was fun. haha
Anyhow. @_@ I was able to treat customers better! Huzzah! I felt better when I was able to help people and not just stand there like a log like I did yesterday. lol But, wow. . . so many Japanese tourists who're like. . . LOST beyond belief. X_X At least I was able to help them out. 10 points for me for that. lol
So. Let's see. What did I try today. . . OH! Yesterday I actually was able to try one of the cakes. *_* We have a limited edition cake (ahaha I forgot the name of it. . >_>) that has a layer of dark chocolate mousse and PASSION FRUIT cream in it. Oh gawd. . . the passion fruit was SO good! It's like. . . a mix of bitter, sweet and sour just. . . dancing in your mouth. (oh sorry for the exaggeration, but it's true!) I was in love. Seriously. Love at first sight, man! May the choco touch your lucious lips and just. . . MELT on the surface of your tongue. I can't ask for more. haha
And and and! I had a piece of the dark choco covered prunes. ^^ Those were pretty nice. I want to try the dark choco covered gingers sometime. o_o I'm a little curious on that. >_> And I was able to try the champagne truffles. *ROLLS* Ohhhh the ALCOHOL explosvie sensation~ oh-oh-oh! It's SO gooooooooddddddd!! I'm a SUCKER for alcoholic bon-bons but so many of the ones I tried tasted so FAKE. (especially those that are in the shapes of bottles. UGH) the champagne ones. *_* Mmmm~ I think I'll be an addict for those.
