Among them, librarian. I actually wished I was financially able to finish those degrees I started, I could be so much more off when I finish this whole thing.
It'd take a little longer, but as I interview people in libraries, the more you have when you go in, the better it is.
Archivist, researcher, curator... there's a lot of things you could do with history that isn't teaching. Heck, you could get a job not doing history at all.

I think a lot of us wish we could go back in time and change things. My biggest regret is not going to a four-year college right out of high school. I can't help but feel that if I had, I would have taken it more seriously and gotten a degree.

I was at Southern Faire a year or two ago, in the food court area, and this young (jailbait-young, by the looks of her) came up to me and asked me if she could have a hug. I thought, "sure, ok, it's faire," and hugged her. Afterwards, she squinted at me and said, "you're not , are you?" To which I sadly smiled and said, "no."
Lemme guess, you were Cap'n Jack that day? Ehh, always worse things than a free hug.
