This is very good! Great characterization and flow. I especially love how you've given us hints and glimpses of just how far Dr. Horrible fell. You're certainly pulling on heartstrings the whole way through. That final line and the end summation are like a literary punch to the stomach. Great job, beautifully crafted. More please!
