The most seemingly innocent of actions or smells can bring up the most potent memories. You bring this out so beautifully.

I often wonder at the eidetic memories of Elves, and how they can rest in a "waking dream". Would all their memories give them rest?

I've got some strawberries in the fridge right now. I'd have to leave out the chili.

I think of them directing their feet down the dream path of choice - and being able to help others, whose dreams may be troubled, down easier paths through song.

I am sure the compote would be fine without the chili :)
