For this challenge your icons should appear to be simple. Icons should be free of all obvious decorative elements and have the original image (including the backgrounds) mostly intact. No cropped out/replaced/fake backgrounds, no visible textures or decorations, no text and no drawn on elements.
Of course you may use textures for lighting & coloring effects as usual, but nothing fancy.
Shire Icontest Rules:
♣ You may use the images provided and/or find your own.
♣ You may enter up to 5 icons.
♣ You may use textures, brushes, blending and/or text. Anything but animation.
*Remember: You may only use 1 movie image 3 times and this includes any variations or blends done.
♣ This contest will be anonymous, so please do not post your challenge icons elsewhere, including your own journal or your public galleries until after the voting has closed.
♣You may use any images from The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogy films on your icons.
♣ As always you may use screen caps, stills or character pictures.
♣ Enter by posting your icons in a comment below along with direct links.
