I posted a drawing of David Tennant on DeviantArt today. No problem.
I also tried to post the collage of work-in-progress photos I took while drawing. Big problem.

So instead of trying to work out why DA suddenly is giving me problems I'm just posting it here instead.

That is fantastic <3 you draw hair so well :D I can never manage it quite right.

I always start with the eyes XD my reasoning is that if I screw up the eyes, then I don't have to start the entire drawing over to get it right the second time around. <.<

Is this post for fanartivation? just wondering because today is wednesday XD

I like your reasoning XD I think I start with the eyes 'cause they are most interesting. I finish the clothes last 'cause I find them difficult and boring to draw D:

i love eyes <3 it would kill my patience to have to wait with them anyway XD

ohh, but fanartivation is awesome <3 it's a community for fanartists, all fandoms. to share tips and stuff. and on wednesdays they have wednesday walkthroughs, where anyone can sign up and get slotted a wednesday and then they post a wip and explain what they did and such. it's brilliant. i've learned a lot just from the wednesday walkthroughs. :D

Yea, walkthroughs can be extremely helpful. I spend a lot of time on deviantart looking at tutorials and WIPs and stuff. I think I often learn more from watching how amateur artists work than I do from reading professional artists’ how-to books XD
I’ll go check fanartivation out :D
