Thank you for presenting this well. It's not simple, and it's not uniform, but you've done it beautifully.
I have no more to say than that, so I contribute Dick's "Batman is proud of me? My existence is validated!" smile.

Also, AAAAWWWWWW Dickie. I love JLA: Obsidian Age and Dick's tried and true *teeny tiny voice* "Did he say he was my father? OMG PANIC".
I contribute to your contribution with teh wrongness. ;)

Bruce/Dick is like.... well, it's the pairing that you can't help but compare *everything* else to in the DCU. It colors the whole Batman sub-universe. It's obsessive and loving and dangerous and oh how I wish there were more fic.
One note:
Ironically, Barbara made her peace with Helena and they became the best of team-mates in Birds of Prey.
Dunno if you've kept up with recent BoP, but, well... that's *quite* a bit of over-simplification. As in, Babs' ulterior motives caused Helena to leave the Birds in a fit of rage. *g*
Also, this? I doubt they even completely understand the relationship between fathers and sons, which, strangely enough is more natural to one Oliver Queen and his ward, Roy Harper
That would be the sound of my brain *breaking.* *whimper*

Yeah, I'm up to date. But, IMHO, Babs ulterior motives weren't implemented until after War Games. Or maybe until she was possessed by Braniac. After they got over the initial "OMG U HOR!" they seemed to work together without too much stress.

HAH. *pets*

I really love Nightwing, too. The art for that series is always rather good, to the point that I've started collecting old issues.

The art on Nightwing was always decent, with definite peaks of greatness (such as Land or Zircher, for example). We're getting Hester and Parks of Green Arrow fame next. Let's hope they don't get too cartoony.
